Our client, a world leader in the supply of products for the manufacturing of corrugated plastic pipe require a Maintenance Technician. Their products are used in fluid and process applications in end markets such as: industrial, medical, automotive and agriculture.

Day Shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting, testing, repairing preventative maintenance and servicing CNC equipment related to all in house manufacturing.
  • Managing on-site installation, repair, maintenance of the building and its property.
  • Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions for all CNC and non CNC manufacturing equipment.
  • Producing detailed service reports.
  • Documenting processes.
  • Operating vehicles and machinery in a safe manner including lift trucks and cranes.
  • Cooperating with technical teams and sharing information across the organization.
  • Making appropriate recommendations and briefing on repairs, diagnostics and equipment specifications as well as specifications for new equipment.
  • Building positive relationships with team members.
  • Requirements:
  • Proven working experience as a Maintenance Technician.
  • 3-5 years of experience in troubleshooting /repair of CNC machines highly desired
  • 433A Millwright license is an asset but not required
  • Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and minor electrical problems.
  • Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations of engineering and installation drawings for buildings.
  • MS Office skills especially Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
  • Project management and supervision skills.
  • Decision making ability and leadership skills.
  • Time management and organization skills
  • Must have own tools.
  • Must have the ability to work off normal hours during equipment breakdown situations.
  • Must be fluent in English – Reading and writing
