* Job Responsibilities:

** The Quality Manager at Co-Ex-Tec is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and control processes to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This role involves leading the quality team, developing and implementing quality management systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Manager plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* Ensuring acceptance limits (boundary) samples are established and maintained for all programs on attribute defects
* Acting as primary contact on all Customer quality concerns; ensuring all quality concerns are communicated accordingly
* Maintaining relationships with personnel from major OEM’s, up to Plant Manager level; QA Manager of all major suppliers; other QA Managers/Directors/Management within Corporate; AQSR Registration agency.
* Directing 8D problem solving team for all Customer-related quality issues, including tracking, reporting, problem-solving of issues; retain and maintain records as required
* Providing support to all departments for quality system development, corrective and preventive action and problem solving resolution.
* Assisting in Supplier selection and certification as required
* Assisting in the statistical process control improvements with manufacturing and supplier base.
* Supervising and coordinating contractors, as required.
* Being on call after regular hours to respond to emergencies.
* Providing production with “fast response” quality troubleshooting
* Completing all APQP-related activities, ECR processes, PRP (8D), and all other Quality Management System requirements as needed;
* Setting and achieving specific goals around Lean Manufacturing principles
* Ensuring that conflict and productivity issues are managed directly, constructively, and professionally in all circumstances
* Drive year-over-year continuous improvement initiatives in areas of responsibility.
* Create an environment that encourages active process improvement discussion in the context of business goals.
* Identify opportunities, scope projects and forecast resources to achieve productivity, quality and service improvement targets for the business.
* Develop the annual Business Plan for the Quality Department.
* Identify key weaknesses within the business and lead the transformation of existing processes to a higher quality operation
* Leverage the capabilities, ideas and processes within the team
* Lead and manage staff including resource planning; training; and performance management
* Ensure compliance and enforcement of Customer Specific Requirements, QMS (IATF
16949), Health and Safety (ISO 45001), EMS (ISO
14001), and security (PIP) requirements.
* Adhere to all Co-Ex-Tec and departmental procedures as required.
