Warehouse Associate – Legrand, North America
Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Associate to join the EWS Team in Vaughan, OH. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing operational duties as required, including order picking, inventory replenishment, and assistance within receiving and returns departments. The role requires maintaining a safe, efficient, and effective working environment to meet daily performance targets and building strong relationships with all team members.
EssentialPosition Functions
- Efficiently and effectively perform the duties of a warehouse associate as described by the Distribution Team Leader.
- Maintain effective relationships with all other team members and staff.
- Pick orders via RF scanning device as directed while following the Distribution Center SOPs.
- Replenish inventory via RF scanning device as directed while following the Distribution Center SOPs.
- Ensure escalation to Team Leader as required to ensure SOPs are followed.
- Work overtime as necessary to meet customer commitments consistently.
- Safety focused.
- Time management skills.
- Dependable and consistent.
- Strong English language communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong sense of urgency and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Knowledge and ability to use distribution related equipment, e.g., manual pump truck.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Available for overtime as required.
- High School Diploma – Mandatory.
- Completion of post‑secondary education would be an asset.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a distribution or warehouse environment.
- Previous experience using RF scanning devices, WMS software/hardware.
