Our Lensmakers Optical – partners of Solis Optics – is looking for someone like you to join us as an Optician!

The Optician plays a critical role within Solis Optics and is crucial to our success by delivering world‑class service to our customers. You'll often be the first point of contact with the public, so you must bring your passion for people and your drive to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

This position is a casual role, working one full day or two half‑days weekly.

• Educating clients about the best eyewear choices for their lifestyle
• Assisting with selection of frames to suit your client’s aesthetic and performance needs
• Upholding excellent customer service standards using your charisma and problem‑solving skills
• Performing repairs and adjustments to customers' eyewear
• Contributing to store retail sales goals

• Registered Optician in British Columbia
• Minimum one year’s experience in an optical environment
• Passionate about customer experience; a great communicator who can provide exceptional interactions with customers
• Committed to excelling as a member of a high‑performing team
• Able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
• Good computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Previous retail experience an asset

The expected compensation for this position is $25.15 – $31.44 per hour, considering factors like experience, skills, and qualifications.
