We are looking for a Senior Back-end Java Engineer to join our growing team in Mexico!

Role - Full Stack Developer

Location - Remote (Canada/Mexico/Argentina)

Time zone: PST

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer. Part of this engineer’s duties will be to provide support to AI indexing system as they work to mature that system.

Top 3 Must Haves:
1. Strong proficiency in Java, Springboot
2. Hands-on experience in frontend technologies - React, Angular
3. Familiarity with database technologies like MySQL, Postgre

SQL, or Mongo

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java-based backend and modern frontend technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, plan development cycles, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues during the assigned shift.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Work closely with QA teams to ensure smooth deployments and performance tuning.
• Adapt to evolving project requirements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, or similar frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with database technologies like MySQL, Postgre
  
  SQL, or Mongo
  
  DB.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes.
