Electrical Designer

To strengthen the team in our Engineering Department, we are looking for:
Electrical Designer
The selected candidate, reporting to the Head of the relevant discipline and working closely with Project Managers, will be responsible for the detailed and construction design of electrical and automation systems for tertiary and industrial sectors.
Main responsibilities include:
Design of medium and low voltage electrical systems
Review and verification of projects received from the client within “turnkey” contracts
Liaising with design firms and clients to define all technical aspects of the project
Drafting technical reports and specifications for systems, equipment, and materials
Preparing calculation reports for sizing systems and equipment
Developing electrical panel diagrams and layout drawings
Following up on execution documentation received from suppliers and verifying full compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements
Coordinating junior resources assigned to the project
Interfacing with site technicians during construction and commissioning phases.
Requirements:
Technical diploma in Electrical Engineering or a degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Basic knowledge of the main technical standards applicable to systems and equipment
Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is considered a plus
Familiarity with calculation and sizing software such as Ampere and Dialux
Good command of English
Strong team-working skills
Availability for short business trips to sites or clients for inspections or technical surveys.
