Project description

Luxoft is seeking for a skilled COBOL Analyst Programmer to contribute to projects within the Banking sector. This role requires strong technical proficiency in mainframe systems and the ability to adapt to specific client product environments and customizations. The successful candidate will be involved in the development, testing, and documentation of mainframe application software at client product installations, based on business and technical requirements provided by the client.

The candidate will receive continuous support from product experts to facilitate learning and ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and document mainframe application software according to client-provided business and technical requirements. Adhere to software life cycle and development methodologies during project implementation. Perform problem-solving tasks, including bug analysis and fixing, within client product installations. Learn and adapt to client-specific product environments and customizations. Collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Skills
Must have

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Maximum of 5 years of experience in Mainframe/COBOL/CICS/JCL/DB2/MQ Series

Minimum of 3 years of experience in product design and support

Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Banking applications

Demonstrated experience working with software life cycle and development methodologies, and their implementation.

Hogan application programming. Strong communication skills
