Pharmacist – Bayshore Health Care

We are seeking a full‑time Pharmacist to provide service to our client in Esquimalt, BC. The position is Monday‑Friday day shifts only with no nights or weekends.

The successful candidate will be responsible for compounding, dispensing and prescribing pharmaceuticals, as well as providing pharmaceutical expert services to patients and other health care providers in a clinic environment.

• Compound, dispense and prescribe pharmaceuticals.
• Provide pharmaceutical expert services to patients and health care providers.

• Bachelor degree in Pharmacy from a recognized Canadian University accredited by CCAPP, or foreign graduate who has met provincial requirements to obtain a pharmacy license.
• National board examination through the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) (except Quebec).
• Certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or equivalent CPR/AED Level C; annual recertification required.
• Registration and license from the provincial or territorial regulatory organization in the province of practice.
• 3 years of experience within the last 5 years providing direct patient care as a clinical or community pharmacist working in a clinical setting such as hospital or community clinic.

• Current N95 mask fit certificate CSA Standards Z94.4 (within 2 years).
• Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) Certification (within 2 years).

• Great work/life balance with daytime hours Monday to Friday only.
• Paid on an hourly basis.

Hourly Compensation range – $58+ (Independent contractor rate available). Hourly rate paid on an hourly basis.
