American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Level III high-risk facility, requiring ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
Details- Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a Level III high-risk hospital
- Day shift schedule, 4x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Will consider 36 or 48 hour schedules
- Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation
- Float to High Risk OB unit as needed, which includes 16 rooms caring for early inductions, antepartum, and continuous monitoring patients
- May float to up to two nearby lower-volume hospitals within scope of practice, though floating is uncommon for L&D RNs
- Active NJ or compact RN license required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP
- 2.5-3 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
- Must pass a dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing, with only two attempts allowed on a PC device
- Epic charting experience preferred
- BLS certification must not expire within 30 days of assignment start date
- Provide nursing care in the Antepartum and High Risk Antepartum settings
- Scrubs provided by hospital
- First time travelers are welcome to apply

- RTO must be submitted at time of profile submission; requests after submission will not be accepted
- Block scheduling considered but not guaranteed
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required with no exemptions
