Water Resources Manager – 32733 (Environment Agency)

Overview

We are looking for a senior leader to manage water resources and lead a department of over 70 technical experts within Operations Catchment Services.

Responsibilities

Provide expert input to the National Framework for Water Resources.
Manage programmes to deliver sustainable abstraction.
Lead drought planning and drought management initiatives.
Develop talent and skills within water planning.
Drive national modelling for water resources and groundwater.
Champion health, safety, and wellbeing; foster inclusion; support people development.
Lead the operational delivery of services ensuring efficient use of resources and performance measurement.
Participate in the Operations Catchment Services Leadership Team.
