Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet visitors at Reception, including service users, carers, families, other professionals, estates and facilities staff, emergency services, support services
  • Deal with queries via person, telephone or post, signposting where applicable
  • Make appointments
  • Book rooms
  • Place orders using Trust systems and maintain stock levels
  • Update databases
  • Scan to Trust systems
  • Audit scanning
  • Maintain general Reception environment, reporting any issues as applicable
  • Liaise with other staff regarding cover
  • Other general admin tasks
Qualifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages including Outlook and Word and able to learn new IT packages
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills combined with a self‑motivated and flexible approach to work
  • RSA 2 Word Processing qualification / NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent level qualification
  • Recent admin experience essential; previous healthcare experience preferred but not essential
Hours and Location

The hours for this role will be 3 x 7.5 hours per day (8.30am to 5.00pm). There may also be an occasional requirement to cover at other Trust bases so a person with a flexible approach and attitude is required.

The role is based at Drury Lane Health & Wellbeing Centre, Wakefield, a community hub providing Outpatient Services for Adults & Older People.
