Sales Analyst – Wakefield, England, United Kingdom

We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Sales Analyst to join our City & Guilds business, here in Wakefield. This is a permanent opportunity based in our Wakefield office and will work alongside the Customer Solutions Executive Director and the Senior Sales Leadership Team to enable informed commercial decisions and drive profitable revenue growth.

The successful candidate will manage, cleanse, and analyse large‑scale sales datasets, including revenue, margin, and pipeline information. You will conduct in‑depth competitive analyses across key sectors, enhance market intelligence by identifying and integrating new data sources and client insights, and support commercial decision‑making through client profiling, regional analysis, and market evaluation.

You will develop and maintain dynamic dashboards in Power BI and Excel to monitor key performance indicators, sales trends, and market share, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of information across CRM, SAP BW, and other reporting systems. You will also lead automation initiatives and integrate new data feeds to improve reporting efficiency and promote data governance.

• Experienced Analyst with strong Excel and Office skills and familiarity with CRMs and Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to distil complex information into simple, compelling stories.

• Strong communication skills that enable engagement at all levels within an organisation, presenting data in an understandable style.

• Ability to network internally and externally, work with diverse stakeholders, and present information to senior leaders.

• Enthusiastic, passionate about analysing data and providing actionable insights.
