I'm recruiting on behalf of a major civils contractor delivering a flagship infrastructure scheme at the Netherton Hub - the largest earthworks project currently being undertaken for SSEN in Scotland.
We are looking for two experienced Section Engineers to join the team on a freelance basis.
Role Responsibilities
· Oversee major civils packages including earthworks, drainage, and internal roads.
· Manage and brief Site Engineers, ensuring planned works are executed safely and effectively.
Ideal Candidate
· HNC or higher in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
· Proven experience on highways or major earthworks projects (e.g., large-scale infrastructure, HS2-type environments).
· EUSR CAT1 & CAT2 training is highly desirable.
