The contractor have been operating for 50+ years mainly across Yorkshire and have built a popular reputation within their specialist work streams delivering: sewer rehabs, drainage CCTV surveys, jetting / lining, sewer unblocking and similar work. They work across both commercial & residential sectors. They have a company group turnover of circa. £50m so show a track record of successful growth. They have in‑house excavations and reinstatement teams meaning they can offer a full turnkey drainage services package for clients.
The Supervisor will be responsible for managing live sites at different stages from excavation setup through to reinstatement & finishing.
Duties / Responsibilities as Site Supervisor- Set up & manage deep excavations safely
- Site documentation
- Delivering briefings to workforce
- Delivering toolbox talks
- Material checks / plant checks
- Inductions for workforce
- General supervision in daily work on site
- Health and Safety checks on site
- Dealing with external stakeholders & customers
- Must have experience as Supervisor on excavations, drainage / utilities
- Must have experience of shoring & best practice temporary works
- Must hold: CSCS, SSSTS, First Aid and full driving license.
- Beneficial: NRSWA Supervisor / SWQR Supervisor, Deep Excavations, Confined Spaces & similar
- Beneficial: BTEC / HNC / HND / NVQ / Degree in relevant field
- A salary of up to £47,000 (dependant upon experience) plus: company vehicle or £7k allowance, fuel, 21 days + statutory annual leave, life assurance, 5% pension and other benefits.
