Senior Buyer

Job Description:

A Leading Construction Contractor is looking for a Senior Buyer to join their team in Warrington to support a small project buying team. You will;
Manage the end-to-end procurement process for materials. Lead the operational buying of materials and plant across national construction projects. Ensure compliance with preferred supplier agreements and maximise the use of frameworks. Delivery stakeholder requirements, acting as a key link between project teams and the supply chain. Ensure procurement strategies are aligned with company procedures. Support work winning teams with sourcing material quotes for bids.

Support with strategic procurement and category management activities. Deliver value for money, and support the successful delivery of cost savings and rebates. Why Apply:

Our client is looking for candidates with 3 years' procurement construction materials experience. Ideally you will currently be working in the construction environment as a Buyer looking for a step up. Must have recent experience of construction or infrastructure projects.
