Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Package
Our client, a growing regional residential developer, are seeking an Architectural Technician to join their expanding team. This is a key hire that will take ownership of all in-house technical drawing production, supporting a strong, cash-backed development pipeline. Operating as a family-run business, they offer a stable environment, direct access to senior management and the opportunity to shape architectural standards as the business grows.
With several new sites launching and unit output set to increase year-on-year, this is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong technician who enjoys hands‑on drawing work and wants long‑term progression.

- Producing detailed technical drawings, layouts and house type designs
- Preparing and maintaining accurate AutoCAD-based drawing standards
- Supporting planning, technical and site delivery teams with required documentation
- Producing technical site layouts, construction detailing and working drawings
- Completing drawing amendments, updates and releases to programme
- Liaising with internal departments and supporting occasional site visits
- Maintaining high accuracy, consistency and compliance with applicable regulations
- Contributing to future development of drawing standards and house type portfolios
- Strong background in residential architecture (volume house building preferred)
- High proficiency in AutoCAD and working to established drawing standards
- Revit experience desirable but not essential
- Ability to work independently as the sole architectural technician
- Excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail
- Confident producing house types, layouts, working drawings and detailing
- Full UK driving licence (site visits required)
- Comfortable with fully office‑based working (Mon‑Fri, 8:30am‑5:00pm)
