£30,000 to £41,000 (depending on experience)

Established more than 25 years ago, their team has diverse engineering expertise from civil and structural, to marine and seismic, and they offer full project management services to their clients. They have worked in a range of industries including infrastructure, power, transportation, oil, gas, petrochemical and industrial, and they continue to embrace new sectors at every opportunity.

They are looking for a permanent Civil Engineer The candidate will be accountable to the Directors to undertake calculations, design work and design management as required for projects.

• Production of engineering design & detail in accordance with project requirements
• Preparation of calculations, written reports and checking of contract drawings
• Checking of calculations done by other Engineers
• Client liaison
• Site visits as required by projects

• A Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering OR approaching (or recently) Chartered
• At least 3 years’ design experience in Civil Engineering projects
• Excellent communication skills
• IT literate
• Competent in English (verbal and written)
