The RoleWe are looking for a committed and compassionate Paralegal to join our Child Abuse Department. This is a challenging and highly sensitive area of law that demands empathy, resilience, and the ability to handle complex and emotionally charged cases with care and professionalism. You will play a vital role in supporting Directors and Fee Earners in progressing client matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide assistance to Directors and Fee Earners with case management, research, and administrative support.
- Attend court hearings and client meetings, take detailed notes, and prepare case summaries.
- Carry out litigation preparation tasks, including document review and filing.
- Handle telephone enquiries, liaise with clients, and coordinate with other professionals.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of client care.
- Accurately record work completed and comply with all training requirements.
- Excellent communication skills

This role is based out of our Wakefield office, with the option for hybrid working in line with business needs. Due to the nature of the work, a flexible and responsive approach is essential.
