Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across our premises. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks to ensure a safe, tidy, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in cleaning and a keen eye for detail, contributing to the smooth operation of our facilities.

The successful applicant will need a clean enhanced DBS certificate which we can help obtain.

• Clean and sanitise all designated areas, including floors, toilets, offices, and communal spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly.
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Use specialised cleaning products safely, adhering to manufacturer instructions.

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness standards.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery and equipment effectively.
• Good organisational skills to manage daily tasks efficiently.
• Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities.
