Area Cleaning Supervisor Services

Independent Cleaning Services are one of Hull and East Yorkshire largest cleaning companies and provides a range of cleaning services to Hull and the surrounding areas. We are looking to strengthen our team and are seeking another Area Cleaning Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. As an Area Cleaning Supervisor, you will be assisting Area managers for overseeing and managing team’s of cleaners across multiple locations. Your primary role will be to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times. This role will involve cleaning duties when needed AM/PM shifts.

This would be to cover Wakefield and West Yorkshire areas to help and assist Area Managers

Must have clean criminal record as an Enhanced DBS certificate will be applied for

• Providing guidance, training, and support as needed
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met and maintained
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures
• Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment
• Coordinate with site managers and clients to address any specific cleaning requirements
• Handle and resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
• Assist in recruiting and hiring new cleaning staff when needed
• Keep accurate records of cleaning activities, including timesheets and inventory management

• Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or similar role
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures
• Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Proficient in using cleaning equipment and supplies
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel between different locations

• Previous experience in a Area supervising cleaning role
• Hours of work:
  Monday to Friday with flexible hours available. A split shift is in operation covering mornings and evenings and contract is 25 hours per week.
• Applicants must have a reliable car and hold a full, clean UK driving licence. Uniforms and equipment is provided along with full & detailed practical training.
• Rate of pay is £13.50 per hour. Plus Car allowance £150 and fuel allowance is paid at a competitive price.
