Environmental and Sustainability Manager

Futures is working with a rapidly growing manufacturing business in the West Yorkshire region, who due to a period of continued growth are looking to appoint and Environmental and Sustainability Manager. The successful Environmental and Sustainability Manager will have a solid understanding of environmental, social governance and corporate social responsibility frameworks.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop CSR frameworks
Develop ESG policies
Drive continuous improvement across environmental, social and governance areas.
Ability to identify process and system improvements
Ability to work with various stakeholders.
Strong communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Produce annual sustainability reports to a high standard.
Experience engaging with external carbon auditors to measure, verify and support reductions in carbon emissions.
Knowledge of relevant sustainability accreditations
A track record of contributing to or delivering carbon reduction plans using responsible and innovative approaches.
