Project Manager, Operations Manager, IT Project Manager

TXM Recruit are working in partnership with a well-established engineering organisation to recruit an experienced Project Manager on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented professional to play a key role in delivering complex, cross-functional projects within a dynamic technical environment.

The Role Reporting into the Group Technical & Engineering Director, the Project Manager will take full ownership of projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and within budget. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners, acting as a central point of coordination and communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Define project scope, objectives and deliverables aligned to business goals
Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules and resource requirements
Coordinate internal teams and third-party suppliers to ensure smooth execution
Manage day-to-day project activities, risks and mitigation actions
Provide clear, consistent communication to stakeholders and senior leadership
Track and report on project performance using appropriate tools and metrics
Lead post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry best practice

Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
Proficient with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana or Trello
Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
Confident problem-solver with a hands-on approach
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or a related discipline
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Project Manager or similar role
PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile certification highly desirable
