Quality Control Supervisor

Large door and window manufacturer based in Wakefield is looking for a Quality control supervisor for their growing operation. This would suit someone with a quality control background as ensuring a quality product is delivered to their customers is part of their ongoing commitment to their customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring personnel ensuring the team are producing a quality product
• Being responsible for identifying and implementing cost efficiencies and facilitate corrections to malfunctions of equipment by dealing across different departments.
• Responsibility for the root cause analysis and ensuring solutions are identified and implemented
• Coaching and development of employees
• Compliance of of health and safety on site

The type of person for this role must be someone with Quality control knowledge in a fast moving company. You must have excellent supervisory skills and the ability to coach a growing team. Ideally you will be qualified to NVQ level 3 in management and have experience with UPVC.
