Role Description

The Cafe Manager at Wakefield Treacy Hall will oversee daily operations of the cafe, ensuring high-quality customer service and efficient food and beverage service. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing sales, monitoring stock levels, maintaining health and safety standards, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. This is a part-time on-site role based in Wakefield, requiring a hands‑on approach and interaction with diverse individuals, including older adults.

Qualifications

• Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of people
• Experience in Food & Beverage and Food Service management, including knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
• Strong Sales skills with a focus on enhancing the customer experience and meeting financial targets
• Organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage staff and operations effectively
• Previous experience in a similar role or within the hospitality industry is preferred
• A genuine desire to support older adults and work in a community-focused environment
