Role Overview
Wakefield Council are seeking a Full-Time Enhanced Senior Social Worker to join their outstanding Integrated Front Door (IFD) service.
You’ll be working alongside some of the best practitioners and leaders in the field.
ResponsibilitiesWork with partner agencies to screen incoming referrals within the MASH.
Analyse information and make recommendations on appropriate levels of intervention and support.
Working Pattern- Monday - Thursday: 08:30 - 17:00
- Friday: 08:30 - 16:30
Wakefield District Headquarters, Havertop Lane, Normanton, WF6 1FD
ContractMinimum 3 months
QualificationsSocial Work Qualification – Degree or equivalent
At least 3 years’ experience as a social worker within children’s services
RequirementsMinimum 3 years post‑qualifying experience in frontline social work
MASH experience preferred
Strong assessment and decision‑making skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑agency environment
