I’m partnering with a market leading business in Wakefield that is going through a significant phase of digital improvement and are looking to recruit a new Software Developer to join the team.

As a Software Developer, you’ll work with C#, .NET and Angular to build modern applications that make the digital experience of customers and colleagues smoother, simpler and more intuitive. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative software development team where your ideas and approach will influence how digital products are shaped and delivered.

• Developing new and existing applications using C#, .NET, SQL and Angular
• Writing clean code and ensuring all software has clean architecture
• Building and redesigning cloud solutions
• Designing and enhancing APIs that connect core business systems to 3rd parties
• Deliver seamless user journeys
• Contribute to engineering standards, code reviews and continuous improvement

• Commercial experience with C#, .NET, SQL and Frameworks (Ideally some Angular experience)
• A solid understanding of modern web application and back-end development
• A focus on quality, maintainability and long-term engineering standards
• Clear communication and the ability to work well with both technical and non-technical teams
• A learning mindset and willingness to contribute to an evolving engineering culture

• Azure cloud and Azure Dev Ops (CI/CD)
• SQL Server
• Integration with third party APIs
• Agile delivery practices
• Creatio CRM Platform
• React, Vue and other front-end frameworks

• Basic salary of £40-50k plus benefits
• Hybrid working (1-2 days per week in Wakefield)
