Class 2 HGV C Driver

Shifts - Days Monday to Friday (Saturday and Sunday available occasionally)

Between 06:00am and 08:00am

Job Description:

Our Leeds based customer are a national commercial and domestic relocation specialist.

Class two vehicle, with a mixture of driving and hands on labouring work ensuring the relocations and removals are carried out efficiently.

Drivers need to have a good level of fitness to carry out hand balling of items being relocated or removed from sites.

You will be working in teams of 2 - 10 people crews, with shifts expected to be between 8- 12 hours. Although shifts can be longer or shorter in length.

You can expect to be working in a variety of different premises from Schools to Hospitals, and Private Homes to Local Authorities.

Requirements:

* Safely operate rigid commercial vehicles up to 18 tonnes

* Be reliable and hold excellent time keeping

* Excellent customer service is required as there is potential you will be working in businesses that are still functioning

* 2 work references must be provided

* Must be familiar with safe Manual Handling of heavy goods

* Must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment

* Have a positive attitude and a professional work ethic

Qualifications / training / experience:

* Must be 25 or over

* You will need to hold a full Cat C licence, Drivers CPC & DQC

* Minimum of 12 Months Experience driving HGV

* No Drink or Drug related offenses or DR10, CU10, 30 & 80 offences.

Pay

£15.05ph (Holidays Accrued) or £16.87ph (Holidays Paid Out)
