Senior/Principal Sustainability Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage sustainability projects, ensuring compliance with Part L and Part O regulations.
- Utilize IES software for building simulation and energy modeling.
- Knowledge of DFE standards to develop and implement sustainable solutions.
- Perform SAP calculations and support the design team in achieving sustainability goals.
- Develop strategies for carbon reduction and achieving net-zero targets.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate sustainability into all aspects of project design and delivery.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.

Qualifications and

Experience:

- A minimum of 4 years of experience in sustainability engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in IES software and energy modeling tools.
- Strong knowledge of Part L and Part O building regulations.

- Experience with DFE standards and educational building projects.
- Certified Level 5 Energy Assessor.
- Expertise in SAP calculations and energy efficiency strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement carbon reduction and net-zero strategies.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
