Job Description

Picture this: you’re at the heart of a dynamic finance team, where every number tells a story and every report shapes the future of a growing business. We’re looking for a Financial Accountant who thrives on precision, insight, and impact. In this role, you’ll be the guardian of financial governance, ensuring accuracy in monthly and yearly reporting, keeping tax compliance watertight, and managing the details that keep our business running smoothly.

From liaising with auditors and tax authorities to maintaining our fixed asset register, you’ll be the go-to expert for financial control and compliance. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams, providing insights that influence big decisions, lead on tax processes, support audits, and play a part in shaping strategies for efficiency and growth. It’s a role where your technical expertise meets real‑world impact.

Qualifications
  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 3–5 years PQE
  • Experience in a financial or management accounts‑based role, providing insight and commentary, plus tax compliance
  • Hands‑on experience with ERP/accounting software (e.g., Sage, Oracle, IFS)
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and tax regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
  • Food industry or commercial environment experience preferred but not essential
