The roleAs a Trainee Survival Equipment Technician, you’ll receive specialist training to maintain and repair critical survival equipment that safeguards pilots throughout their flying training and operational missions.
Responsibilities- Repair and rectify all aircrew air systems
- Perform routine maintenance on clothing, parachutes, ELTs, and flotation devices
- Conduct stock checks and manage consumable supplies
- Carry out weekly and monthly tool checks and maintain tool control standards
- Manage sensitive data, asset allocation, and maintenance control systems
This is a full‑time role (40 hours per week) based on site at Benson, Oxfordshire.
Essential ExperienceA strong passion for engineering and aviation, with a keen interest in technical innovation and aircraft systems.

Security ClearanceSuccessful candidates must meet Ministry of Defence security clearance requirements, including at minimum a Baseline Security Check and Enhanced DBS. Many positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
