• Dayshift: 08:00-17:00 Mon-Thurs, 08:00-13:00 Fri
• Precision engineering business supplying into aerospace, motor sport and other high-spec sectors

Do you combine engineering expertise with strong estimating skills and commercial awareness? This role sits at the heart of the engineering team, supporting quotations, cost analysis and continuous improvement.

• Previous experience in estimating or costing within a precision engineering or CNC machining environment.
• Good understanding of machining processes, materials, tooling and fixtures
• Able to manage workload across a small team and meet deadlines
• Comfortable supporting cost‑saving initiatives and analysing cost‑of‑sales data
• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Produce accurate quotes and cost estimates for CNC‑machined components using best practice methodology.
• Manage estimating activity within the team to meet customer timescales
• Provide commercial support to the engineering Cost of Sales function through data analysis and cost‑saving improvements.
• Work with supply chain to order materials to customer specifications
• Help introduce process documentation and support continuous improvement across the department.

This Commercial Engineer job is commutable from Willenhall, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, Cannock, Birmingham and the wider West Midlands region.
