Senior Manufacturing Engineer, £50,000 – £60,000, West Midlands

• £50,000 – £60,000 salary guide (depending on experience) + company pension + 25 days holiday

• Dayshift:
Monday to Thursday 08:00–17:00, Friday 08:00–13:00

• Precision engineering company working across motor sport, aerospace, defence & advanced manufacturing

Are you a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with advanced CNC and offline programming skills, looking to take full ownership of NPI, process development and continuous improvement in a precision engineering environment?

Your background as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer:

• Proven experience in manufacturing engineering within a precision engineering environment

• Strong CNC machining knowledge – milling & turning up to 5-axis

• Confident with offline programming (Visi CAM preferred) and 3D CAD (Solid Works / Visi)

• Solid understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, materials and machining processes

• Experience supporting NPI and process improvement activities

• Comfortable working hands-on with operators and technicians on the shopfloor

Senior Manufacturing Engineer responsibilities:

• Lead new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing process planning from concept to production

• Create robust manufacturing documentation including stage drawings, setup packs and SOPs

• Generate offline CNC programs for milling and turning (3, 4 & 5-axis)

• Support production with daily problem solving and permanent corrective actions

• Assist with tooling and fixture design to improve capability and consistency

• Support quality activities including PFMEA and right-first-time delivery

This Senior Manufacturing Engineer job is commutable from Wolverhampton, Walsall, Telford, Birmingham, Cannock and surrounding areas.
