Our Consumer Finance division is a fast-growing, FCA-regulated lending business focused on residential HVAC and renewables.

The Role
As a Financial Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and robust controls within a dynamic, regulated environment. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and gain exposure to both technical accounting and commercial finance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory and management accounts in line with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Manage financial close processes, reconciliations, and reporting to Group Finance.
• Maintain rigorous balance sheet controls and ensure SOX compliance.
• Support FCA regulatory submissions and governance reporting.
• Handle VAT and tax pack preparation, with knowledge of partial exemption VAT beneficial.
• Partner with internal teams to provide insights and influence decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong technical skills.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments preferred.
• Excellent analytical ability and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills to present complex financial information clearly.
• Resilient, proactive, and adaptable to change in a fast‑paced environment.
