As an FP&A Manager, you will support the FP&A Controller and work closely with the Financial Controller, Head of Commercial Finance, and Finance Director. You will also collaborate extensively with teams across Accounts Payable, Financial Accounting, Commercial Finance, and Treasury.

The role has three core areas of responsibility:

  • Planning: Ownership and support of the annual budget, five-year strategic plan, and quarterly forecasting cycles.
  • Reporting: Delivery of high-quality weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
  • Central Costs: Budgeting and forecasting, monthly variance analysis, and strong business partnering with departmental budget holders.

This role is responsible for delivering high‑quality financial reporting, financial planning, and business partnering support to central cost departments. A key focus of the position is the effective use and continuous improvement of financial systems, including optimising existing reporting and planning solutions within the Finance function.

Looking ahead, the FP&A Manager will play a pivotal role in the planning, development, and implementation of a new financial planning tool, helping to enhance insight, efficiency, and decision‑making across the business.

Key Measures of Success
  • Timely delivery of accurate, high‑quality weekly, monthly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Successful delivery of quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and five‑year plans, meeting agreed timelines and business objectives.
  • Clear and effective communication of financial plans, insights, and recommendations to the senior leadership team.
  • Strong collaborative relationships, demonstrated through positive feedback from stakeholders across the FP&A team and the wider Finance function.
Qualifications & Technical Skills
  • Part‑qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA).
  • Advanced financial systems knowledge, with particular experience in Oracle Fusion and EPBCS (Smart View).
