Trustee for Finance and Accounts – Volunteer

We are seeking a Finance & Accounts Trustee to join a new trustee board supporting a growing community organisation. You’ll provide strategic financial oversight to ensure sustainability as we expand services supporting wellbeing, inclusion, and vulnerable communities.

During a period of significant growth, the Finance & Accounts Trustee will strengthen financial oversight, sustainability, and planning. Your guidance will help ensure resources are well managed, funding is maximised, and services remain resilient, enabling us to support more people in our community effectively and responsibly.

• Finance or accounting experience with a strong understanding of financial controls, budgeting, and reporting.
• Experience supporting organisational growth in charities or community organisations.
• Confidence in providing strategic financial oversight and ensuring long‑term sustainability and good governance.

This role is one of four trustees on a new board. You will support financial oversight, budgeting, controls, and sustainability, helping the organisation manage growth responsibly and ensuring resources are used effectively to support our communities.
