Location: Blakenall Village, Thames Road, Walsall, WS3 1LZ

Team: ICS Walsall Council

Contract: Full Time – 37 hours per week

Duration: Until March 2026

Rate: £31 per hour

Pertemps is recruiting an experienced Physiotherapist to join the Integrated Care System (ICS) in Walsall, working across both Walsall Council and NHS services. This is a long-term opportunity within a well-established Intermediate Care team.

You will work across all pathways of Intermediate Care
, including reablement, rapid response, and rehabilitation beds
, supporting patients to maximise independence and prevent unnecessary hospital admissions. The role requires flexibility to work across community and bed-based settings as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Deliver physiotherapy assessments and interventions across Intermediate Care pathways
• Support rehabilitation and reablement to promote independence and safe discharge
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including health and social care professionals
• Contribute to rapid response and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with service requirements

• HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car
• Proven experience working within a multidisciplinary team
• Community physiotherapy experience (essential)
• Post-graduate experience (preferred due to the complexity of the caseload)
• Experience with in rehabilitation or intermediate care settings (highly desirable)
