The Project Manager will deliver multiple ongoing projects to the specified quality, required programme and maximum commercial performance. The role involves working closely with the Estimating Department, site delivery teams and surveyors to ensure projects are completed safely, while maintaining or exceeding customer requirements and expectations.

• Produce financial forecast, monitor and control project costs and generate monthly reports to the Contracts Manager.
• Deliver projects from design to completion, including all handover documentation.
• Review progress, budget resources and planning.
• Ensure work packages are clearly defined and understood.
• Chair weekly site meetings and produce accurate minutes.
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers, framework suppliers and design consultants.
• Develop and maintain construction programmes with Barhale staff.
• Coordinate and manage site investigations during construction.
• Develop engineering solutions that are buildable, cost‑effective and meet client requirements.
• Ensure implementation of Project Plans, risk assessments, method statements, site waste management plans and procurement of plant and materials.
• Maintain detailed site diaries and records.
• Maintain commercial tension to drive out cost and challenge the status quo.
• Prepare comprehensive estimates for additional work outside target costs.
• Assist with estimating new tenders.
• Identify and chase potential new clients.

• Set the highest possible standards of leadership in HS&E procedures and best practice.
• Ensure all HSE‑related documents are kept up to date and produce monthly reports for the HSE team.
• Allocate HSE responsibilities and duties for site personnel, check understanding and provide training as necessary.
• Ensure subcontractors follow Barhale’s procedures and processes.
• Produce and maintain site waste management plans and site‑specific environmental risk assessments.
• Liaise with third parties to ensure compliance with HSG
  47, HAUC, NRSWA and Chapter 8 and other required regulatory standards.
• Provide training and briefings to the team, including cascade briefings, TBTs, 3‑Pillar Forums and general briefings.

• Manage and produce ITPs and ensure they are signed off by relevant parties.
• Ensure QA File is produced and maintained.
• Close out any technical queries.
• Ensure as‑built and O&M manuals are submitted to the client on completion.
