Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Gynaecology Assessment Unit and Ward 23. The role involves providing high quality nursing care to inpatient and assessment unit patients, supporting senior colleagues, and supervising junior staff.

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient centred nursing care.
• Maintain accurate, legible patient records in accordance with local policy and NMC guidelines.
• Act as a liaison with multi‑disciplinary and multi‑agency teams to optimise patient outcomes.
• Provide Level 1 registered nurse support to junior nursing staff.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels and report any breach to senior staff.
• Meet and exceed standards set by senior nursing leadership and national evidence‑based guidelines.
• Utilise Trust resources efficiently and effectively.
• Administer intravenous medication following Trust policy.
• Engage in continual professional development and register any additional skills gained.

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current UK NMC registration.
• Post‑registration experience in Gynaecology nursing.
• Excellent communication skills across a variety of settings and with patients of varying understanding.

• Competence in venipuncture and cannulation.
