We are a friendly and passionate veterinary team, dedicated to delivering the very best care to every pet that comes through their doors, day and night, in a modern and well-equipped surgery.

We are now looking for an experienced and proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their growing clinical team and help them continue to provide outstanding patient care. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive, close-knit nursing and veterinary team within a large, independent, family-owned veterinary group with a nationwide presence. You will work alongside colleagues who are either working towards or have achieved certificates in areas such as surgery and small animal medicine, and you will contribute to a varied and rewarding caseload.

You will play an important role in supporting clinical excellence, developing your skills through ongoing CPD, and helping the practice to continue to grow, improve, and achieve new clinical standards, including maintaining Cat-Friendly Clinic principles.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Delivering high standards of clinical and inpatient care

* Supporting vets during consultations, procedures and surgeries

* Monitoring anaesthesia and assisting in theatre

* Providing excellent patient care throughout the pet’s journey

* Supporting and mentoring colleagues, where appropriate

* Contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment

* Maintaining clinical standards and supporting continuous improvement

* Taking part in CPD and professional development opportunities

Requirements

They are looking for someone who:

* Is a qualified and registered RVN

* Has previous experience working in a busy, varied practice

* Is proactive, reliable and keen to get involved

* Enjoys working as part of a team and supporting colleagues

* Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Is passionate about delivering outstanding clinical care

* Is eager to learn and take advantage of ongoing development opportunities
