Senior Quality Inspector

Our client is a leading engineering and manufacturing company based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

Due to the increased demand in the manufacturing department and quality control, we are looking for an experienced CMM Quality Inspector.

• Inspection, including 1st off, patrol and outgoing.
• Assisting in effective management of the entire measurement and test equipment calibration system.
• CMM programming in line with company standards.
• Setting of adjustable MTE for use by Manufacturing Operators.
• Compiling routine final inspection trend analysis and reports.
• Compilation of inspection report blanks.
• Raising and following up QA NCRs.
• Compilation and submission of various customer documentation pack.
• Supplier liaison on specific quality issues.
• Complete 8
  
  Ds.
• Complete FAIRs.
• Communicating with customers.
• Managing NCR database.

• Good knowledge of programming CMMs.
• Knowledge of QMS system advantageous.
• PC literate with competence in Microsoft Office.
• Good knowledge of inspection techniques, including:
• The ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings and determine appropriate measuring techniques.
• The ability to produce credible management reports.
