Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 per annum + car allowance + benefits (depending on experience)

We are working in partnership with a well-established and ambitious construction and development management business to recruit an experienced Construction Manager.

Our client is a privately owned company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use developments. Operating as both developer and construction manager, they are known for well-organised sites, strong leadership, and a hands-on approach to project delivery. With a growing pipeline of work and long-term plans for expansion, they offer stability, autonomy, and genuine career progression.

The Role

As Construction Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the construction delivery of multiple projects or a large flagship scheme, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

* Overall management of site teams, including Site Managers and Assistant Site Managers

* Overseeing programme, quality, and health & safety across projects

* Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring smooth site operations

* Working closely with commercial, design, and client teams

* Driving build quality, compliance, and best practice on site

* Supporting project planning, sequencing, and problem-solving

* Playing a key role in mentoring and developing site management staff

About You

* Proven experience in a Construction Manager or Senior Site Manager role

* Strong background in residential or mixed-use developments

* Excellent knowledge of construction processes and site management

* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications essential

* Confident leader with strong communication and organisational skills

* Ability to manage multiple work streams and priorities
