We are partnering with a respected and expanding construction contractor to recruit an experienced Estimator to join their pre-construction team in either Manchester or Leeds. The company delivers a diverse range of new build and refurbishment schemes up to £15 million
, including commercial, residential, education, public sector, and mixed‑use developments.

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for new build and refurbishment tenders

• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to identify project requirements

• Build up cost plans, bills of quantities, and trade packages

• Liaise with supply chain partners to obtain competitive quotations and market prices

• Assess risk, value engineering options, and buildability considerations

• Work with bid, design, and operational teams to develop well‑coordinated tender submissions

• Attend tender meetings and contribute to final adjudication processes

• Maintain estimating databases, supplier information, and cost libraries

• Experienced Estimator within a main contractor or construction environment

• Background estimating projects up to £15m in value

• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market pricing

• Confident reviewing technical drawings and tender documents

• Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills

• Able to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet deadlines

• Competent with estimating software and MS Office

• Full UK driving licence (desirable for client/site visits)
