Position: Control Engineer (Permanent)

Control Systems Engineer
- The Role:

Work through the whole lifecycle of the project from completing design documentation, developing control software, testing, commissioning and handover

Interpret User Requirement Specification packages and reverse engineer existing control system software

Produce functional design specifications, configure PLC and SCADA packages, conduct factory and site testing and site-based commissioning

Co-ordinate and develop junior staff as required

Monitor and plan projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget

Act as Engineering Co-ordinator on small projects when required

Control Systems Engineer

- The Person :

Have a minimum of 3 years systems engineering experience

Have strong knowledge of safe working practices

Have a high regard for health and safety

Be well organised and have good communication skills at all levels

Be positive, approachable, willing and helpful

Team player

Have experience in PLC software development using at least two manufacturers devices from Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Mitsubishi or Schneider

Hold a full UK driving licence
