DATS is working on behalf of our client to recruit a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their projects team and deliver high-quality electrical and instrumentation designs across multiple sectors including water, energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear, and food & beverage.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for producing accurate 2D / 3D layouts, containment routing, loop diagrams, cable calculations, and network schematics. You will ensure all work meets BS7671 IEE Wiring Regulations and project-specific requirements.

• HNC or Degree in a technical engineering subject
• Proven experience delivering electrical installation designs in the water utility or infrastructure sector
• Knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations, hazardous area design, and instrumentation best practices
• Proficiency in AutoCAD LT, Relux / Dialux, Trimble Pro Design Suite, Aveva, Navisworks, and Revit

In this Senior Electrical Engineer position, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, process, HVAC, and civil engineers, ensuring seamless integration of electrical designs into complex projects. You’ll also provide technical guidance, support site activities, and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes.
