We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our SMR Project team. You will work on designing complex thermal and fluid systems for a commercially groundbreaking new build.

• Analyse and calculate cooling water island systems using cutting‑edge methods.
• Perform static and transient flow and thermal analyses with advanced software tools.
• Assist in the design and integration of various systems.
• Produce, review and update system documentation.
• Define control strategies to improve system performance.
• Determine appropriate sizing for system components.
• Conduct thermal‑hydraulic calculations and modelling.
• Formulate detailed equipment specifications.

• Education:
  
  Degree in Process or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Skills:
  
  Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.
• Experience:
  
  Proven experience in producing design documentation and test specifications.
• Software:
  Proficiency with PIPESIM, Flomaster, or other 1D CFD software.

Due to the nature of the work, applicants must meet UK security clearance criteria.
