Within the Engineering team, the Mechanical Engineer will integrate operational engineering multi-disciplines teams delivering projects at various phases, from FEED to commissioning, or in assistance to Plant Operation in the UK.

As a Mechanical Engineer at Orano Limited, you will be involved in a variety of specialist tasks:

• Supporting/delivering and organising technical studies/projects.
• Supporting the design of mechanical processes, from strategic and conceptual phases to detailed design and construction & commissioning phase support, producing technical notes, substantiation notes, mechanical flow diagrams, flow-sheets, mechanical drawings, P&IDs, mechanical layout drawings, hazards and malfunctions management, and reviewing technical specification documentation from supply chain.
• Technical studies related to mechanical handling for handling operations, heavy mechanical transfer systems, powder mechanical processes (transport, milling, compaction) in high active environment and glove boxes, compaction and mechanical dismantling technologies.
• Technical networking within Orano, including with Orano experts.
