RSE is a trusted clean water technology company focused on delivering innovative water treatment solutions across the UK. We are expanding our in‑house design team and are looking for a Process Design Engineer to join us on a permanent basis.

Your key duties will include:

• Initial project scoping visit and preparation of project scope reports.
• Process calculations and process unit sizing.
• Preparation of P&IDs and PFDs.
• Preparation of Process Control Philosophies.
• Working with a multidisciplinary team to develop full solutions.
• Participation in design meetings, including HAZOPs.
• Potentially acting as Design Lead for a limited number of projects.
• Specifying temporary treatment requirements to ensure no consent breaches during construction activities.
• Input into commissioning plans.
• Troubleshooting operational issues.

• Strong technical knowledge in the design and operation of water and wastewater projects (or similar).
• Demonstrable experience in process engineering or a similar industry environment.
• Process design engineering experience within municipal water/wastewater highly desirable.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary design team.
• Experience at all design stages, from optioneering/FEED through to construction support and As‑Built highly desirable.
• Experience of plant commissioning and/or plant operation preferable.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer with a relevant professional body preferable.
• Ability to work on multiple projects consecutively.
