Certain Advantage is hiring for a Principal Mechanical Engineer (RE) based in the Warrington area. This role is on a permanent basis and is site-based.

We’re working with an engineering company specialising in managing complex infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on nuclear energy, renewable energy, and digital transformation solutions.

This role is for a Principal Mechanical Engineer (RE)—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed. You’ll be leading a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

• Requirements Management
• DFMEA / PFMEA Support
• Site Surveys
• Documentation
• Review Drawings

• CAD (Inventor)
• Nuclear Design
• Experience in a nuclear safety regulated environment and principles
• Eligibility for a high level of security clearance

• Salary of circa £75,000 per annum & additional benefits
• Training and Development
• Career progression
