Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Permanent, Full-time, Office Based An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Manager/ Finance Manager to join a forward-thinking and innovative organisation based in Warrington. This role will suit a hands-on finance professional who enjoys working in a small finance team and working within a fast-paced, international environment.

The Role:

As Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day finance function, managing a small finance team, and ensuring accurate financial reporting across UK and European entities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support a small finance team, ensuring effective day-to-day operations Oversee preparation of month-end and year-end financials, including fixed assets, journals, prepayments, accruals and foreign exchange revaluations Manage multi-currency sales reconciliations and cashflow processing Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations Liaise with international head office to support group consolidations Prepare, submit and reconcile VAT returns across the UK and Europe Produce and submit monthly statistical and financial data Manage the full month payroll processing for UK and European employees Maintain and oversee a company-wide contract audit Support budget preparation and reconciliations

Key Requirements:

Qualified by experience, AAT qualified, or similar Strong knowledge & experience of UK payroll Experience working within a finance or accounts department, with responsibility for managing a small team Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and Index Match Excellent financial analysis and planning capability High levels of accuracy and attention to detail Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively Why Apply?
