The role

As the SAP Solution Lead for Procurement & Supply Chain (P&SC), you’ll play a critical role in driving our digital transformation. Positioned at the core of our SAP Service and Programme organisation, you’ll shape and optimise the systems that underpin our procurement and supply chain operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency, fostering innovation, and enabling the delivery of essential services to defence and beyond.

Day-to-day,

you’ll be :
  • Designing, configuring and supporting SAP ECC6 and Ariba modules for Procurement and Supply Chain Planning.
  • Leading functional and configuration support for Coupa solutions across Source to Contract (S2C), Requisition to Pay (R2P), Analytics and Open Business Network.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and blueprint solutions.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation including business processes, functional specs, test scripts and training materials.
  • Driving continuous improvement and troubleshooting across SAP and Coupa platforms.

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and can be based near our Bristol site, or a key Babcock hub, including Rosyth, Portsmouth, Plymouth or London etc with hybrid working arrangements and occasional travel.

Essential experience of the SAP Solution Lead :
  • Extensive hands‑on experience as a SAP Solutions Lead within Procurement & Supply Chain and able to demonstrate previous Source to Contract, Requisition to Pay, Analytics configuration, releases, and support experience.
  • Excellent understanding of business processes and integrations within Procurement & Supply Chain and related solutions required to deliver the service.
  • Integration experience with Finance, Logistics, Project Systems, Timesheets, HR, Asset Management and Operations.
  • Previous configuration support across Materials Management, Investment management, Materials Requirement Planning, Production Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Logistics Execution and Ariba Modules.
Qualifications for the SAP Solution Lead :
  • A university degree or relevant experience in Procurement & Supply Chain.
